About the Position

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 4x10-hour shifts per week, 40 hours per week | Shift: 10:30 AM – 9:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care and monitoring to patients recovering from surgical or procedural interventions
• Assess and manage patient pain, airway, hemodynamic stability, and level of consciousness in the PACU setting
• Collaborate with anesthesia and surgical teams to ensure safe patient transitions from the OR to the recovery unit
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses to treatment accurately and in a timely manner
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate nursing interventions

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Compact or Georgia state license required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 18 months of PACU experience
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

• Experience working in a high-volume acute care or surgical hospital environment
