About the Position

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 3x10-hour shifts per week (12:30 PM – 11:00 PM) | 30 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia nursing care to patients recovering from surgical or procedural interventions
• Monitor and assess patient vital signs, airway status, and level of consciousness in the post-operative period
• Manage pain, nausea, and other post-operative symptoms in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols
• Collaborate with the surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure safe patient transitions from the OR to the PACU
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately in the medical record

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum of 18 months of PACU experience required
• BLS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Travel nursing experience preferred
• PALS certification preferred
