Position OverviewJoin a highly regarded litigation practice handling sophisticated construction defect matters for developers, general contractors, subcontractors, and other construction industry stakeholders. This is an opportunity to take meaningful ownership of cases, gain hands-on litigation experience, and work alongside accomplished attorneys in a collaborative environment that values professional growth and work-life balance.The firm has earned a reputation for excellence in complex construction, real estate, and business litigation while fostering a culture that is supportive, entrepreneurial, and genuinely enjoyable.Key ResponsibilitiesManage construction defect matters through all phases of litigation, from case inception through resolution.Conduct and defend depositions, manage discovery, and prepare case strategy and evaluations.Draft and argue motions, pleadings, and other substantive legal filings.Participate in mediations, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation.Collaborate with attorneys and clients to develop effective litigation strategies.Qualifications / Nice to HaveMust HaveActive California Bar membership.3+ years of construction defect, construction litigation, or complex civil litigation experience.Experience handling discovery, depositions, and law and motion practice.Strong legal research and writing abilities.Nice to HaveTrial preparation experience.Experience representing developers, general contractors, subcontractors, or design professionals.Background in real estate or commercial litigation.BenefitsCompensation: $165,000 - $220,000+ DOE.Opportunity to work on sophisticated, high-exposure construction litigation matters.Collaborative, team-oriented culture with strong mentorship and career development opportunities.
