This role operates behind the scenes to ensure food and beverage offerings are prepared, presented, and delivered in alignment with Nick’s Magnificent brand expectations. The Culinary Concierge plays a critical role in maintaining kitchen cleanliness, organization, and operational flow, supporting front-of-house team members in delivering a seamless and premium guest experience. This position requires attention to detail, consistency, and commitment to excellence in food quality, safety, and presentation. Work is performed under the direct supervision of the Culinary Operations Manager. Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities To succeed in this role, an individual must satisfactorily perform each essential function. Prepare, cook, and assemble food and beverage items in accordance with recipes and brand presentation standards. Maintain strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, labeling, and hygiene practices, including proper temperature control and handling procedures. Ensure proper food storage, labeling, and rotation (FIFO) to maintain product freshness and compliance. Maintain a clean, organized kitchen, prep area, dish area, and storage spaces throughout all shifts. Coordinate with front‑of‑house staff to ensure timely and accurate order preparation; communicate ticket times, large orders, and special requests as needed. Support opening and closing kitchen procedures using established checklists. Assist with inventory management, including monitoring par levels, organizing stock, and communicating low inventory or ordering needs using established processes. Receive, inspect, organize, and properly store deliveries in accordance with company standards. Assist with special events, including preparation, packaging, and timing. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently; report equipment issues or safety concerns promptly. Support overall facility cleanliness, particularly with food preparation and back‑of‑house areas. Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines. Performs all duties of the Guest Concierge & Café and Café Concierge & Cashier positions as necessary and required. Performs other duties as assigned, directed, or required. Licenses, Certifications and Other Requirements Education and Experience High school diploma or GED. One year of experience in food service, hospitality, or kitchen operations preferred. Special Requirements WA State Food Worker Card within 14 days of hire. Mandatory Alcohol Server Training (MAST) 12 (age 21 years +) or 13 (age 18 years +). Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Knowledge of Food safety, sanitation, labeling, and proper food handling procedures. Basic kitchen operations, food preparation techniques, and equipment usage. Inventory practices, including par levels, stock organization, and FIFO rotation. Brand standards related to food quality, presentation, and cleanliness. Workplace safety practices and proper use of kitchen equipment. Basic mathematical concepts related to portioning, inventory, and order accuracy. Company policies related to food service operations and safety compliance. Skills and Abilities to Learn Nick’s Magnificent policies and procedures applicable to daily tasks. Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and accountability in all assigned responsibilities. Prepare and present food consistently and accurately according to established standards. Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace in a fast‑paced environment. Follow recipes, procedures, and safety guidelines with consistency and precision. Manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining quality and efficiency. Communicate effectively with team members regarding order flow and priorities.
