Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse position available in Alexandria, Louisiana. This role requires a qualified RN with a minimum of 1 year of experience in emergency nursing, primarily in a high-acuity setting. Candidates are expected to bring their licensure on the first day of assignment. The position involves night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. This is a full-time opportunity that may transition to permanent employment.

Job Details:

• Location: Alexandria, Louisiana
• Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
• Schedule: 36 hours per week minimum
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (preferred), current BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications, TNCC certification required, RN license in the state of employment or a compact state, at least 1 year of experience in emergency nursing preferred.
• Additional Information:
  • All candidates must have an active CPI Blue Card and TNCC at the time of submission.
  • Every other weekend work schedule.
  • No call required.
  • No floating required.
  • Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 4:1.
  • Start date: 07/27/2026.
  • The assignment offers a weekly gross pay of approximately $2,122.92 and net pay of approximately $1,957.75, with travel reimbursements of $150 at start and end of assignment.
• Position Requirements:
  • All newly hired experienced RNs must attend a new nurses orientation within the first 30 days of hire.
  • Participation in a residency or specific orientation may be applicable.
• Additional Notes:
  • Trauma Level Experience: 2
  • Teaching Hospital Experience: Yes
  • EMR experience with Epic systems.
