Make a difference in the lives of children by supporting their growth and development as a contract Speech Language Pathologist working with elementary-aged students in a vibrant educational setting. This is a fantastic opportunity for a compassionate and motivated SLP looking for a full-time position, with a caseload primarily comprised of elementary students. Assignments may be matched to your experience and age group preferences.

Key Qualifications:

• Active North Carolina SLP license is required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) strongly preferred
• Prior experience in schools, particularly with pediatric populations
• Proven proficiency with assistive listening technology
• Ability and willingness to supervise, as you may oversee an SLPA if placed
• Commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive, and engaging learning environments

Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and provide intervention for students with speech and language challenges
• Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Utilize assistive listening technology to support students’ access to communication
• Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school policies
• Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to ongoing professional development
• Supervise and support SLPA staff as needed, ensuring effective service delivery
