This contract position offers a full-time schedule, running from ASAP through June 4, 2027, with hours Monday through Friday totaling 37.5 hours per week. The caseload assignment will be tailored to your background and experience, allowing you to maximize your expertise.

Qualifications:

• Active Speech Language Pathology license issued by the state of North Carolina (NC)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred
• Prior experience in educational settings, specifically with school-age populations
• Proficiency in working with assistive listening technologies
• Must be able and willing to supervise SLPAs if needed
• Demonstrated effectiveness in collaborating within multidisciplinary teams
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Role Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and provide intervention for students with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Utilize assistive listening technology to enhance student outcomes
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to optimize academic environments for students
• Provide supervision and mentorship to SLPAs where applicable
• Maintain detailed service delivery records in compliance with federal, state, and district guidelines
• Participate in ongoing professional learning and team meetings
