About the Role
The Company is in search of a Director/VP of Client Services for Life Sciences Staffing. This high-impact sales leadership role is focused on driving growth in the San Francisco Bay Area and the West Coast, specifically within the biotech, pharma, and medical device sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for territory strategy, new business generation, and building long-term client partnerships. This is a true hunter role, ideal for someone who excels at opening doors, building relationships, and serving as a trusted advisor to life sciences organizations. Key responsibilities include driving new business development, managing a sales pipeline, and developing strategic relationships with senior leaders. The role also involves representing the organization at industry events and staying abreast of industry trends to identify new opportunities. Applicants for this role should have a minimum of 5 years' of successful life sciences services sales experience, with a proven track record of building a territory and winning new business. A strong network and experience in the biotech, pharma, or medical device industries are essential, with a background in CRO, consulting, clinical development services, or related life sciences solutions being preferred. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional relationship-building, negotiation, and consultative selling skills, and demonstrate a self-starting, entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for exceeding goals. This is a high-visibility, growth-focused position that offers the autonomy to execute a territory strategy and the opportunity to become a key player within the Bay Area life sciences ecosystem.
