Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)

Role: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) providing direct rehabilitation care in skilled nursing facilities. Responsibilities: Assist in implementing occupational therapy treatment plans under supervision, document patient progress accurately, utilize therapy software, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes. Key Duties: Follow treatment protocols, maintain patient safety and confidentiality, participate in community health initiatives, and demonstrate professionalism and good judgment in patient care. Qualifications & Skills: NBCOT certification, valid state licensure, proficiency in Microsoft Office, CPR certification, strong communication skills, ability to make independent decisions, and adherence to legal and organizational policies. Additional Requirements: New graduates are welcome, with a preference for candidates with some experience. Must demonstrate good body mechanics, dependability, and a positive attitude.
