Machine Operator – 1st Shift
Pay: $20.00–$23.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 1st Shift: Tuesday–Friday
- 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Employment Type:
- Temp-to-Hire Opportunity
- Eligible for hire after completion of required hours
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and mechanically inclined Machine Operator to join a growing metal fabrication team. This position involves operating specialized metal processing equipment and requires strong measuring and basic math skills.
Responsibilities
- Operate metal fabrication machinery safely and efficiently
- Read and use tape measures accurately
- Perform basic math calculations related to production and measurements
- Inspect parts to ensure quality standards are met
- Follow work instructions and safety procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Preferred Experience
Candidates with experience operating any of the following are encouraged to apply:
- Punch Press
- Saws
- Tube Benders
- Press Brakes
- Other metal fabrication or manufacturing equipment
Experience using measuring tools such as:
- Tape Measures
- Calipers
- Micrometers
Qualifications
- Mechanical aptitude required
- Manufacturing or metal shop experience preferred
- Ability to read measurements accurately
- Basic math skills required
- Entry-level candidates are welcome to apply
