About the Role

The Company is seeking a Head of Front End to lead the development of a new, scalable B2B platform and ensure the performance and security of its B2C products. The successful candidate will be responsible for steering the front-end strategy, leading a team of developers, and working closely with QA to deliver a fast and secure user experience. This role involves shaping the architecture, component libraries, and performance optimization in a modern cloud environment, as well as defining and implementing design systems, accessibility standards, testing strategies, and CI/CD pipelines. Experience with JavaScript, React, and AWS is essential, with SvelteKit experience being a significant advantage. As the Head of Front End, you will have the opportunity to mentor frontend engineers, collaborate with various teams, and have a direct impact on the future of the B2B platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in frontend development, a passion for creating cutting-edge and delightful user experiences, and the ability to work in a remote-first, flexible environment. Responsibilities also include leading the greenfield frontend development of the B2B platform and ensuring that consumer brands remain at the forefront of technology, security, and performance.
