Mechanical Planner 1st Shift

What You’ll Do Plan orders using production resources and communicate with Sales. Set BOM and work routing through the shop in our ERP system (MS Dynamics AX). Track orders through the Shop, expediting when necessary. Assist with parts backorders and field questions for work in progress. Maintain workflow using MS Office Suite programs. Cross-train for future career growth opportunities. Spend up to 20% of the time in the shop environment. What You’ll Bring Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (related majors also considered). Experience: Preference will be given to applicants with experience planning orders in a manufacturing industry. Attention to detail: Strong focus on accuracy and good communication in all tasks. Availability: Full-time, with occasional Saturday overtime as needed; adherence to attendance and company policies. Mechanical knowledge: Familiarity with basic machining practices and materials is a plus, as is general mechanical knowledge. Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team setting. Reliability and accuracy: Commitment to reliable work with a high standard of accuracy in drawings and specifications.
