What You'll Do

• Provide specialized neonatal care alongside neonatologists within a busy Level III NICU environment
• Cover neonatal patients approximately 20 hours daily in partnership with in-house neonatologists
• Assist with neonatal stabilization, ongoing management, and family support
• Help care for newborns in both ICU and nursery settings as assigned
• Participate in interdisciplinary team efforts ensuring optimal patient outcomes
• Contribute to maintaining the NICU's reputation as an award-winning, luxurious birth environment
• Support hospital-wide initiatives and procedures relevant to neonatal care

What You Need

• Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NP-C) Board Certification
• Minimum 2+ years of NNP experience (excluding RN background)
• Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team
• Active North Carolina license or eligibility to obtain one

• Experience in high-acuity neonatal care
• Strong communication and family support skills
• Commitment to quality improvement and team participation
