What You'll Do

• Perform daily rounds on newborns in a new 10-bed Level I Nursery
• Attend deliveries as requested and provide immediate neonatal care
• Stabilize and manage newborns requiring higher-level care, facilitating transfers to NICUs in Charlotte or Gastonia
• Collaborate with a team of NNPs and Neonatologists to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Participate in newborn transport and stabilization procedures
• Support the growth and development of the new nursery unit with leadership and expertise

What You Need

• Valid, current Board Certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP)
• Minimum of 2+ years of NNP experience (excluding RN experience)
• Ability to work 24-hour shifts including rounding and on-call responsibilities
• Strong neonatal care skills and clinical judgment

• Experience with neonatal transport and stabilization
• Ability to work collaboratively in a new facility setup
