Nephrology Nurse Practitioner/PA Opportunity

Middletown Medical, a practice popular with patients since its establishment in 1984, is seeking a Nephrology Nurse Practitioner/PA to join our established team of advanced practice professionals. The practice is known for its high-quality patient care and is valued by providers for the ease of delivering exceptional care while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. The primary responsibilities will be to see patients in the office and care for patients with kidney disease by providing hospital coverage (shared with other providers) on weekdays and weekends, and rounding on patients in dialysis units. Outpatient office hours are flexible. The provider will work from the Monticello location. The candidate we seek is a motivated individual with excellent clinical, communication, and problem-solving skills. The job applicant should be able to establish and maintain effective relationships with patients, physicians, and staff. The ideal candidate will have experience providing healthcare education to patients and families with treatment plans. We are looking for a professional who has worked in a clinical office and/or hospital setting, preferably caring for patients with kidney-related diseases.

Salary: $65-75 per hour with an additional productivity bonus and benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate with board certification of an accredited Nurse Practitioner/PA program.
• Current New York State NP license or eligibility.
• Prior nephrology, internal medicine, primary care, or hospital medicine experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and patient education skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
