$35 - $50 per hour + Six-Figure Earning Potential
Are you a highly skilled commercial HVAC technician with strong expertise in VRV/VRF systems looking for a company that rewards your technical ability with excellent pay and the right tools to succeed?
5 Star Charleston is seeking an experienced Commercial VRF/VRV Service Specialist to join our team. This role focuses on servicing high-end variable refrigerant systems for commercial clients who demand top-tier performance and reliability.
What You'll Earn
- Hourly pay ranging from $35.00 - $50.00 per hour , based on experience

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM (with participation in the on-call rotation)
What You'll Do
- Service, maintain, and troubleshoot complex VRV/VRF systems
- Diagnose and repair a wide range of commercial HVAC equipment including DX units, pumps, cooling towers, and boilers
- Perform preventative maintenance and system optimization
- Read wiring diagrams, conduct air balancing, and ensure peak system efficiency
- Make professional repair vs. replace recommendations
- Deliver high-quality service and maintain strong client relationships
- Participate in the on-call rotation for emergency service needs
What You Need
- Significant hands-on experience with Daikin VRV or equivalent VRF systems
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints
- Type II or Universal EPA Certification
- Solid understanding of air balancing principles
- Valid driver's license with insurable driving record
- Professional attitude and leadership potential
