The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our healthcare providers.ResponsibilitiesPrepare patients for examination and treatment.Record patient history and personal information.Perform routine clinical tasks, such as taking vitals and administering injections.Assist healthcare providers during examinations and procedures.Ensure patient confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.Schedule appointments and manage patient flow.Provide patient education and answer questions regarding treatments and procedures.Assist in office administrative tasks as needed.QualificationsCertified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential.High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.Minimum of two years of experience in a healthcare setting.Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems (preferably Epic).Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.Compassionate and patient-focused attitude.Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.Knowledge of Spanish language is an advantage.BenefitsHealth, dental, and vision insurance are available.Retirement plan with employer matching.Paid time off (PTO) and holiday pay.Join our team and make a difference in the lives of our patients.
