Property Maintenance Technician

A company vehicle is available for this position, so a clean driving record is a must! Property locations all over the Greater Seattle Area. We are seeking an energetic, motivated individual to join McLeod Construction as a Property Maintenance Technician. In this role, you will address common maintenance issues across properties, perform repairs & clean up as listed, and recommend additional work as needed. Our ideal candidate has a strong knowledge of all-around property maintenance and carpentry skills. Do you enjoy working independently? This is the position for you! Duties include (but not limited to): Perform routine and scheduled maintenance across multiple properties Light construction work, including rough and finish carpentry, drywall installation and finishing, interior and exterior painting, wallboard repair, gutter repairs, etc. Maintain grounds and cleanliness of communities including trash pick-up, pressure washing, light landscaping, etc. Building/property assessment for needed repairs Reporting completed tasks & any additional work noted to project manager daily via computer entry Knowledge & Skills: Proficient in working with computers and calendar management (MS Outlook, Excel - Data Entry Only) Must have knowledge of and experience using a variety of power and hand tools Must have a basic understanding of carpentry, painting, and drywall principles Take-charge mentality, yet able to follow directions Ability to handle all personality types Company Requirements: Ability to pass criminal background check.
