Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess individual patient needs and develop personalized therapy strategies aimed at helping them achieve their functional abilities

Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Use evidence-based interventions to improve patients' motor functionality, cognitive skills, and activities of daily living

Team Up with Diverse Professionals: Collaborate with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide well-rounded, patient-centered care

Educate Patients and Caregivers: Offer guidance to patients and their families on home strategies to foster continued progress

Track Progress and Adjust Course: Document clinical outcomes meticulously and adapt treatments as necessary to keep patients moving forward

Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university

Continuing education or additional certifications are both encouraged and supported

Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license

NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification mandatory
