CGP: Bookkeeper

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Bookkeeper to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $75,000 to $85,000 per year

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform full cycle bookkeeping including accounts payable accounts receivable bank reconciliations and general ledger activity for daily operations.
• Prepare monthly quarterly and yearly financial statements with accuracy and maintain organized supporting documentation.
• Process payroll and maintain all related records filings and required reports with attention to detail.
• Monitor operating expenses track trends and provide timely updates and insights to leadership.
• Maintain clean and organized accounting files communicate with vendors and customers and support inventory and payment related tasks.

• Demonstrate excellent organization accuracy and attention to detail in all bookkeeping responsibilities.
• Communicate clearly with team members customers and vendors while supporting accounting workflows.
• Manage time effectively handle multiple tasks and adapt well to daily changes in a fast paced setting.
• Use Excel Word and Outlook with strong proficiency to support reporting and reconciliation processes.
• Maintain a pleasant and professional work style while contributing to a positive office environment.

• 8+ years of bookkeeping experience with strong understanding of full cycle processes.
• Use QuickBooks desktop and enterprise confidently with willingness to learn other systems such as NetSuite in the future.
• Perform inventory related tasks bank reconciliations credit card posting and financial reporting with accuracy.
• Understand basic accounting principles and apply them consistently to maintain clean and accurate records.
• Provide dependable support as the primary accounting resource while working with an outside CPA when needed.
