Maintenance Manager

Maintenance Team LeaderLead a high-performing maintenance team in a fast-paced manufacturing facility, ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and maintaining compliance with food-grade standards. This role blends hands-on technical leadership with strategic planning, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.ResponsibilitiesLead, coach, and develop a team of 15–20 maintenance technicians across multiple shifts.Build and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs to improve uptime and equipment reliability.Provide direction on troubleshooting, repairs, and root-cause analysis for mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.Partner with Quality to implement and maintain ISO standards, GMP practices, and sanitation-related maintenance protocols.Support or lead small-to-mid-scale capex initiatives, equipment upgrades, and facility improvements.Identify opportunities to enhance safety, efficiency, and equipment performance using Lean/5S methodologies.Oversee external service providers, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely completion of work.Champion a safety-first culture, ensuring compliance with OSHA and internal safety standards.Essential Skills3-5 years of maintenance leadership experience in addition to previous technical hands-on experience.Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.Familiarity with ISO, GMP, or food-grade manufacturing standards.Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Quality, Engineering, and Safety.Experience in plastics manufacturing, injection molding, extrusion, or similar continuous-process environments.Working knowledge of CMMS systems, data-driven maintenance planning, and KPI tracking.Additional Skills & QualificationsDegree is a plus but not required with experience.Exposure to capital projects, equipment installations, or facility upgrades.Lean, Six Sigma, or reliability-centered maintenance experience strongly preferred.Why Work Here?Enjoy a comprehensive benefits package including competitive medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance.
