Job Summary

The Production & Inventory Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to plant operations by assisting the production, inventory, supply chain, and shipping teams. This role is responsible for coordinating supplies, maintaining production and inventory records, entering data into company systems, processing receipts, supporting inventory control activities, and assisting with daily plant operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Order and track production, office, and safety supplies.
• Maintain and organize production documents, batch records, inventory records, and shipping paperwork.
• Enter receiving, production, and inventory data into company systems (QAD and Oracle).
• Maintain accurate inventory records through data entry, cycle counts, and inventory adjustments.
• Receive raw materials and maintain parts and process purchase orders.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies, open orders, and invoices.
• Enter batch tickets and order manufacturing supplies.
• Support the shipping and supply chain teams by printing batch tickets, monitoring labels, and updating daily production metrics.
• Assist with accounts receivable and inventory reporting.
• Assist with plant events, special projects, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support continuous improvement, safety, quality, and productivity initiatives.
• Perform other administrative and operational duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing, operations, or distribution environment.
• At least 2 years of clerical or administrative experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong data entry, math, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently or as part of a team.
