Associate Director, Program Management, Global Commercial Medical IT

This role leads complex cross-functional programs and portfolios within the Global Commercial and Medical IT organization, managing financials, governance, and strategic initiatives including patient services projects and product launches. The Associate Director will consolidate status reporting, drive on-time and on-budget delivery, and support leadership with monthly portfolio reviews and stakeholder management. The position requires 10+ years of IT program management experience in pharma-biotech, a master's degree or MBA, and demonstrated expertise in patient services organizations and software development methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex cross-functional programs including patient services initiatives, product launches, and M&A activities
• Consolidate project and program-level reporting into comprehensive portfolio-level status views
• Manage GCM IT portfolio financials including budgeting, month-end close, and performance tracking
• Drive large programs ensuring alignment on scope, schedule, resources, and budget adherence
• Proactively manage stakeholder accountability and identify operational efficiencies

Requirements

• Master's degree in Information Technology, MBA preferred, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years IT professional experience managing projects, programs, and portfolios in pharma-biotech
• Significant program leadership experience in Patient Services or Patient Support Organizations
• 5+ years implementing complex cross-functional projects using established SDLC methodologies
• Proficiency with waterfall, agile, or SAFe delivery methodologies
• Strong financial discipline, organizational skills, and attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

Compensation: $160,000-$220,000 base
