Job Title:  PI Technician - Modification Support

Location:  Denver, CO

Employment Type: 4-month contract

Industry:  Transportation Manufacturing

Compensation: $40/hour

Schedule: 

• Monday-Friday, 1st and 2nd Shift openings available
• 1st Shift: 6:00 AM-2:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM-10:30 PM
• Could include up to 10 hours of overtime per week

About the Opportunity:

Join a high-impact team supporting the Denver Automatic People Mover (APM) fleet modification program, where your technical skills will play a critical role in completing a major transit modernization project. In this hands-on role, you'll perform complex mechanical modifications, assembly and disassembly, inspections, and rework while working from engineering drawings and maintaining the highest quality and safety standards. If you have experience performing modifications in a manufacturing, transportation, or production environment and enjoy solving technical challenges in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting, this is an opportunity to make a lasting impact on a critical infrastructure program. 

What You'll Do:

• Perform complex modification (MOD) activities on production hardware.
• Execute disassembly, rework, installation, and reassembly tasks as required.
• Interpret and follow engineering instructions, work orders, drawings, and process documentation.
• Maintain strict adherence to quality, safety, and configuration management requirements.
• Perform detailed inspections and verification activities throughout the modification process.
• Accurately document completed work and support issue resolution as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure schedule and program objectives are met

Job Requirements

What You'll Bring:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an electrical technician in a manufacturing, production, transportation, or technical environment

What Sets You Apart:

• Experience in the transportation/railway industry
• Knowledge of and experience adhering to EHS procedures including Lock Out Tag Out
• Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work as a member of a team while meeting schedule requirements.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to follow detailed work instructions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.

Additional Information:

• Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen

• This role requires the ability to obtain a SIDA badge in order to work onsite at the airport.
• This role could require up to 10 hours of overtime per week or the ability to work flexible schedules depending on business needs.
