Job Overview

The Production Technician I is an entry-level position and a critical contributor to our manufacturing team. In this role, you'll learn to operate precision equipment in a cleanroom environment while helping produce high-quality, custom contact lenses. You'll be trained hands-on, supported by experienced teammates, and given clear opportunities to build technical skills and grow your career.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties (other duties may be assigned)

• Learn and perform foundational production tasks at one or more entry-level manufacturing stations
• Follow all work instructions, SOPs, safety guidelines, and cleanroom protocols
• Maintain accurate production and material usage records
• Rotate through manufacturing functions as part of a high-performance team
• Clean and sanitize production equipment and work areas daily
• Report equipment issues or quality concerns promptly
• Participate in required training and demonstrate progress toward Technician II proficiency
• Collaborate with teammates to meet daily production goals
• Apply the company's core fundamentals in daily work and interactions

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Basic math skills (addition and subtraction)
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn technical processes
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
• Comfort standing for extended periods and working with small components
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft 365 or similar software

Growth Opportunity

Entry Technician employees are expected to maintain consistent attendance, deliver high-quality performance, and achieve proficiency in either Base Curve or Front Curve processes within 90 days. Employees who meet these benchmarks become eligible for advancement to Technician II.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm
