Fitness Instructor

Fitness Instructor
The Department of Campus Recreation is seeking qualified fitness instructors to teach group fitness at USC Beaufort. The instructor should possess strong leadership and communication skills, as well as an awareness of current industry standards and trends. The instructor should be capable of leading safe, engaging group fitness for varying levels. Responsibilities include designing workout class, safe demonstration, guidance and motivation, and ensuring a positive and inclusive atmosphere for all participants.
Qualifications: Current fitness certification or justification of teaching experience; ability to work nights. Preferred qualifications: CPR/First-Aid/AED certification.
Position Attributes: Employees in Safety-Sensitive or Security-Sensitive positions will be subject to pre-employment and post-employment drug testing in accordance with University policy HR 1.95 Drug and Alcohol Testing.
