Required Education: Verifiable high school diploma or equivalent.

Required License/Certification: Pharmacy technician license through the Texas State Board of Pharmacy in good standing.

Required Qualifications/Skills/Experience:

• 3+ months of professional work experience in a warehouse, purchasing, and/or inventory environment.
• 3+ months of basic data entry experience, including entering values into a handheld RF device.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.
• Ability to sit, stand, pull, push, reach, stretch, and walk while remaining physically active for multiple hours of the day.
• Ability to work primarily on their feet while receiving packages, opening totes and coolers, and putting inventory away.
• Ability to perform inventory purchasing and receiving activities.
• Ability to track and reconcile inventory balances.
• Ability to perform replenishment, put-away, and cycle-counting activities.
• Ability to manage returned products according to standard operating procedures.
• Ability to monitor product trends, shortages, back orders, and Days' Supply.
• Ability to select products and supplies under the direction of a supervisor.
• Ability to maintain accurate inventory and SOX documentation.

Pharmacy Materials Coordinator Overview:

The Pharmacy Materials Coordinator is responsible for tasks associated with managing inventory at the facility while maintaining the pharmacy in a clean, orderly, and professional manner. This position supports purchasing and receiving of inventory, tracking and reconciliation of inventory balances, replenishment, put-away, cycle counting, return product management, back order and Days' Supply monitoring, and selection of products and supplies under the direction of the supervisor. The Materials Coordinator will manage returned goods according to standard operating procedures and monitor product trends and shortages to help ensure appropriate inventory levels are maintained. The position is also responsible for ensuring pharmacy pick stations are properly stocked with medications and supplies and assisting with the organization of dispensing and back-stock refrigerators. Additional responsibilities include providing adequate packing supplies to Operations Assistants, ensuring pack stations remain appropriately stocked, monitoring and removing short-dated or expired products from active inventory, and filing inventory and SOX documentation. This position can be physically demanding and requires the ability to remain active for multiple hours throughout the day. The majority of the work will be performed on the individual's feet and may include receiving packages, opening totes and coolers, putting inventory away, and lifting boxes and packages weighing up to 50 pounds independently.

Job Duties:

• Purchase and receive inventory.
• Track and reconcile inventory balances.
• Perform inventory replenishment and put-away activities.
• Perform cycle counting.
• Manage returned products according to standard operating procedures.
• Monitor product trends and shortages to ensure appropriate inventory levels are maintained.
• Monitor back orders and Days' Supply.
• Select products and supplies under the direction of the supervisor.
• Ensure pharmacy pick stations are properly stocked with medications and supplies.
• Assist in maintaining dispensing and back-stock refrigerators in an organized manner.
• Provide Operations Assistants with adequate packing supplies.
• Ensure pack stations are appropriately stocked.
• Monitor and remove short-dated or expired products from active inventory.
• File inventory and SOX documentation.
• Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by leadership.
