Job Opportunity – Medical/Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse – Ohio

Location: Cleveland, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Day/Night rotating shifts: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM. Shifts may be variable to meet operational needs. Required to work at least every other holiday.

Highlights:

• 13 to 18-week assignment providing essential winter coverage
• Med/Surg Telemetry with potential to float to multiple units caring for the same patient population
• May care for patients on ventilators depending on unit assignment
• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments completed during orientation
• Extension opportunities available for up to 18 months with facility approval
• Comprehensive orientation with specialty-specific modules provided

Requirements:

• Minimum 12 months permanent experience in Medical/Surgical Telemetry required
• Active Ohio RN license or Compact State license in hand at time of application
• Current BLS (AHA or American Red Cross), ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Professional reference from manager, supervisor, or director in specialty from past 12 months required
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation
• BCI/FBI fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
• Clear background check with no open cases and clean license history
