The facility serves as a regional referral center with a comprehensive trauma and stroke center, as well as a neonatal intensive care unit. The hospital also hosts a dedicated children's hospital, offering specialized pediatric emergency services. The respiratory therapy department consists of an extensive staff, providing care in both adult and pediatric service lines. Typical patient ratios range from 10 to 25, ensuring comprehensive care. Key equipment utilized includes adult and pediatric ventilators, transport vents, and advanced non-invasive devices. The successful candidate will float across various critical care units and floors as needed. Candidates must have the required certifications and a strong foundational skill set in respiratory therapy. Weekend shifts are required, with varying schedules across a six-week period. This position aims to replace a contractor, contributing to the ongoing success of the respiratory services team.
