Family Medicine Physician Meritus Health Primary Care | Hagerstown, MD (Valley Mall) $250,000 Base Salary + $20,000 Sign-On Bonus + RVU Incentive BonusPosition HighlightsOutpatient-only Family Medicine with full-spectrum care (infants through geriatrics)20–24 patients per dayMonday–Friday schedule (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)$250K base compensation + productivity incentives$20K sign-on bonusRotating call (weeknights and weekends)Strong clinical support with dedicated nursing and administrative staffGrowing health system with academic opportunities through new medical school and residenciesClinical Practice This is a traditional outpatient primary care role providing comprehensive, longitudinal care for entire families:Outpatient ServicesWell-child and well-woman examsAcute sick visitsChronic disease managementPreventive care and health maintenanceRoutine gynecologic careMinor office procedures (as trained and interested)Patient Population Full-spectrum family medicine across all ages and generations, including:Newborns, infants, and pediatric patientsAdolescentsAdults with chronic conditions (diabetes, hypertension, etc.)Women’s health and prenatal care coordinationGeriatric patientsTypical Clinical Volume20–24 patients per dayMix of acute, chronic, preventive, and follow-up visitsFocus on quality metrics including diabetic control and patient satisfactionAcademic & Faculty RoleOpportunities to teach medical students and residents (with upcoming Meritus School of Osteopathic Medicine launching Summer 2025 and expanding residency programs)Participation in didactic sessions or precepting available based on interestSchedule & CallMonday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (with occasional documentation time beyond 4:30)Rotating call for weeknights and weekends (shared among providers at each practice site)No inpatient responsibilitiesStrong Clinical SupportDedicated LPNs, Medical Assistants, and clerical staff at each locationMedical Director and practice management supportCollaborative team environment with access to specialistsModern facilities and electronic health recordAbout Meritus Health Meritus Health is an independent, nationally recognized regional health system committed to exceptional patient care, medical education, and community wellness.
