The Operations Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing daily lawn maintenance operations, leading a crew of two to five team members, and ensuring high-quality service while promoting safety and a positive team culture. This role requires daily on-site presence and adheres to a standard weekday schedule.

 

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a crew of 2-5 team members in daily lawn maintenance tasks.
• Train, mentor, and support crew members to enhance performance and growth.
• Oversee lawn mowing, trimming, edging, and blowing to meet company standards.
• Conduct daily property inspections and address customer concerns promptly.
• Operate and maintain commercial mowing and landscaping equipment safely.
• Organize and maintain trucks, trailers, and equipment for safe operation.
• Enforce company safety standards and maintain a clean work environment.
• Communicate effectively with clients and supervisors regarding property needs.
• Complete timekeeping and basic equipment maintenance tasks accurately.

 

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in lawn maintenance.
• Valid driver's license.

 

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in crew leadership.
• Familiarity with lawn maintenance operations.
• Proficiency in operating commercial lawn equipment.
