Quality Technician

Job Summary: Focus Manufacturing is seeking a full-time Quality Technician to join our team in Ogden, Utah. The Quality Technician is responsible for performing inspections across all stages of the production process. Responsibilities: Dimensionally inspect all parts (internally manufactured and sourced) using measuring devices to ensure they meet engineering specifications Follow specifications of blueprints and general dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) Analyze inspection data and manage non-conformances Complete required paperwork and checklists Perform work with a high degree of responsibility with an emphasis on safety and quality Read and understand blueprints, part drawings, internal process instructions and other technical data to perform visual and dimensional inspection activities Collaborates with all departments to ensure quality at the source and continuous improvement Qualifications: Some experience in quality control in a product manufacturing setting Working knowledge of precision measuring instruments Some experience in GD&T and the reading of drawings Strong mathematical and communication skills Ability to pay exceptional attention to detail and have the capacity to handle multiple tasks effectively Experience with computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel Focus Manufacturing is committed to providing equal employment opportunities.
