BAE Systems Mission Assessments (MA) organization is revolutionizing how mission-level operational analysis is planned, executed, and delivered. The Mission Assessments organization was created to address the rapidly increasing demand for mission-level operational analysis. Our mission is to achieve excellence in multidomain (MDO), systems-of-systems (SoS) Mission Assessments and effectively communicate the value of BAE Systems products to customers, DoW leadership and the warfighter. To do this we must bring together models of advanced technologies, weapons, platforms, and threats in relevant mission simulations and then apply our deep subject matter expertise and experience to deliver assessments that can change the world.

BAE Systems Mission Assessments team is seeking highly motivated problem solvers to join the Operations Analysis team. Working as Operations Analysts they will collaborate with design teams assessing threats, developing and quantifying operational level systems requirements, developing operational systems concepts, and assessing mission effectiveness in simulated environments. The analyst will perform operational analysis studies using a wide variety of DoW existing and self-developed modeling & simulation tools.

Duties and Responsibilities may include:

• Perform mission simulation using government or industry standard tools to determine mission effectiveness.
• Perform engagement simulation using standard tools, MATLAB, Simulink and others.
• Perform modeling and simulation studies that optimize mission performance for weapon systems across the air, land, sea, space and cyber domains.
• Develop and apply advanced software and systems methods, theories and research techniques in the investigation, analysis and solution of complex and advanced technical problems.
• Visualization of the battlespace at a mission or engagement level.
• Use, develop, and modifying tools to support:
  • Data analysis of simulation or flight test results
  • Requirements analysis

Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed fulltime on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time. LI-KS1

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• Typically a degree in a technical field such as Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or Operations Research, and 4+ years of experience with a Bachelors or 2+ years of experience with a Masters
• Experience developing and using analysis tools such as MATLAB, Python, VBA, C/C++, or similar tools is required.
• Candidate must have a Secret clearance and the ability to obtain a Top Secret DoW clearance with SCI accesses

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• The candidate will have critical thinking skills that will be exercised across multiple levels of detail.
• The candidate should enjoy problem solving and have the ability to produce concrete results despite significant ambiguities in the problem space.
• Experience in multiple tools such as AFSIM, STK, TMAP, ESAMS, or EWIR is a plus, AFSIM preferred
• Top Secret clearance is a plus

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $97008 - $164914

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
