We serve a diverse patient population, primarily those with private medical insurance, within our state-of-the-art 5,000 square foot sports medicine facility equipped with the latest technologies and therapeutic equipment.

Work Environment

This role will take place onsite at our modern clinic, fostering a collaborative atmosphere where the team of physical therapists and our dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) work closely together. Your workweek will consist of regular hours from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a healthy work-life balance while you focus on providing outstanding patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' needs by conducting thorough assessments, identifying their rehabilitation goals, and designing personalized treatment plans to meet those objectives.
• Manage an average caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring that each individual receives tailored attention and high-quality care.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions aimed at enhancing patients' strength, flexibility, and overall mobility, incorporating various rehabilitation techniques.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques to effectively address pain management and functional limitations.
• Implement exercise protocols that are customized to the specific functional needs of each patient, focusing on rehabilitation and wellness outcomes.
• Document all patient care services meticulously, tracking treatment outcomes, and maintaining clear communication with patients regarding their progress.
• Engage in continuous motivation of patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, encouraging independence and active participation in their recovery.
• Participate in interdisciplinary consultations with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care, enhancing overall treatment efficacy.
• Regularly assess treatment outcomes and adjust care plans accordingly, ensuring alignment with best practices and organizational standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice primarily focuses on individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries and injuries, including but not limited to joint replacements, fractures, and sports-related injuries. You will play an integral role in supporting each patient's unique journey toward recovery, helping them regain full function and mobility.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Active and valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Virginia.
• A clean professional record, free of disciplinary actions related to licensure.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise protocol development.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, is a plus.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable, enhancing your ability to provide immediate and impactful care to our patients.
• A strong background in evidence-based treatment methodologies and patient-centered care principles.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
