Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Valid state certification in Special Education
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or a related field
- Previous experience teaching students with diverse abilities and IEPs
- Strong understanding of SPED laws, compliance, and best practices
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with parents, staff, and support professionals
- Adaptability and creativity in implementing individualized instruction
Your Impactful Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique needs and learning styles
- Employ a variety of instructional techniques to engage and challenge students across a range of abilities
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers, aides, and therapists to nurture student achievement
- Provide a safe, inclusive, and motivating classroom environment
- Monitor, assess, and document student progress, adjusting strategies as necessary
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians and participate in IEP meetings
- Model patience, respect, and encouragement to foster student confidence
