Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Michigan Special Education teaching certification required
- Experience supporting high school students, preferably in co-teach ELA and Math settings
- Familiarity with managing IEP caseloads; this role involves responsibility for 23 IEPs
- Strong collaboration skills to partner with general education teachers
- Passion for individualized instruction and inclusive education
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction to high school students in ELA and Math, adapting to diverse learning needs
- Co-teach alongside general educators to foster a productive classroom environment
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Track student progress, maintaining timely and accurate records
- Collaborate with staff and families to ensure comprehensive student support
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a positive school culture
