Senior Living Community Concierge

Schedule: Full-Time | 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM

Deerfield Supportive Living is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused Senior Living Community Concierge to join our team.

This is a hands-on, non-clinical role focused on helping residents feel comfortable, connected, and supported throughout their day. Our Community Concierge assists residents with everyday needs, provides exceptional customer service, encourages social engagement, and works closely with our nursing, dining, activities, and housekeeping teams to create a welcoming community experience.

• Provide friendly, attentive support to residents throughout the day

• Escort residents to meals, activities, appointments, and community events

• Assist with meal service, dining room support, and resident hydration

• Encourage residents to participate in activities and social opportunities

• Help residents with non-clinical daily needs while promoting independence and choice

• Assist in maintaining welcoming, clean, and organized resident and common areas

• Respond promptly to resident requests and provide excellent customer service

• Build positive relationships with residents, families, visitors, and team members

• Observe residents and communicate concerns or changes to the nursing team

• Work collaboratively with nursing, dining, activities, housekeeping, and other departments

• Follow community safety, infection control, and resident confidentiality standards

• Assist with additional community needs as assigned

• A compassionate, patient, and service-oriented personality

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Dependability and a positive attitude

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong organization and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds throughout the shift

• Ability to successfully complete required background checks and health screenings

Previous experience is helpful, but not required. We welcome candidates with backgrounds in:

• Senior living or assisted living

• Healthcare

• Hospitality

• Customer service

• Activities or recreation

• Working with older adults

CPR certification is preferred but not required.
