Marketing Manager (Contract) This contract role provides services to Microsoft through Allegis Global Solutions, with employment by AGS. Are you a dynamic and results‑driven professional with a passion for understanding market trends and consumer behavior? In this role you will research market conditions across local, regional, and national areas to determine potential sales of products and services. You will gather critical intelligence on competitors, marketing methods, and distribution channels, while collaborating with a diverse team to drive data‑informed decisions. Job Responsibilities Forecast and track marketing and sales trends, analyzing collected data. Conduct research on consumer opinions and marketing strategies with statisticians, pollsters, and other professionals. Devise and evaluate methods and procedures for collecting data, such as surveys, opinion polls, or questionnaires, or arrange to obtain existing data. Gather data on competitors and analyze their prices, sales, and marketing and distribution methods. Measure the effectiveness of marketing, advertising, and communications programs and strategies. Develop and implement procedures for identifying advertising needs. Direct trained survey interviewers. Stay up to date on the latest AI and productivity trends. Understand and align with the top priorities of the Office Product Team. Manage social media channels on behalf of the EVP of Office. Engage with the product team as needed to respond to trends or comments. Create and build assets for social media. Manage day‑to‑day project management accountabilities. Requirements Bachelor's degree in marketing or equivalent training required. 2-4 years of related experience required. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proven negotiation skills and customer service abilities. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams. Ability to work independently and effectively manage one's time. Knowledge of principles and methods for promoting and selling products or services. Knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods. Proficiency in communications, collaboration, and design and marketing disciplines.
