Industrial Maintenance TechnicianJasper, Georgia, United StatesIndustrial Maintenance TechnicianLocation: North Georgia Pay: $26.00 - $27.00 per hour (based on experience) Schedule: 10-hour shifts | 1:30 PM 1:30 AM | Monday Thursday (OT as needed)Position SummaryAmerican Made Solutions is seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to support one of our manufacturing partners in maintaining and optimizing production equipment. This hands-on role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on electrical, mechanical, and automated systems to keep operations running efficiently.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform preventative and corrective maintenance on a variety of production and facility equipment with minimal supervision.Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.Design, modify, and troubleshoot PLC program logic to improve machine performance.Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical blueprints, and equipment drawings.Fabricate, install, and repair components, wiring, and control systems as needed.Collaborate with production and engineering teams to support continuous improvement and efficiency goals.Participate in Lean and 5S initiatives to promote a safe, organized, and efficient workplace.Maintain accurate maintenance records and communicate effectively with leadership regarding equipment status and downtime.Cross-train teammates and assist other departments as needed to meet production goals.Follow all safety procedures and company policies at all times.Qualifications & SkillsHigh school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or related field preferred.Strong working knowledge of: Electrical systems and troubleshootingPLC programming and automation controlsCNC machinery repair and maintenanceHydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systemsWelding and fabrication (a plus)Computer literacy in Microsoft Word and ExcelAbility to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.Self-motivated and goal-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or holidays as production demands.Prior experience with maintenance management software (AMMS or similar) a plus.Physical RequirementsThis role requires regular standing, walking, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
