Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol Driving Assignment in Salt Lake City, UT , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Wed 08:00 PM - 04:00 AM Thu 08:00 PM - 04:00 AM Fri 08:00 PM - 04:00 AM Sat 08:00 PM - 04:00 AM Sun 08:00 PM - 04:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter, helping to identify security-related concerns such as unlocked doors, unauthorized access, and/or unusual conditions. Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorized access when required, and help to deter unwanted activity through a visible presence and professional interactions. Support daily operations by communicating clearly with clients, visitors, and staff, completing required reports, and following post orders and site instructions. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
