As an Allied Universal officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform a driving post with routine mobile patrols, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $19.38 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat07:00 PM - 07:00 AMSun07:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to the appropriate contacts. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter access points. Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, and/or delivery personnel, helping to support authorized access and following site-specific protocols for shipping and receiving areas. Help to deter unauthorized activity and/or disruptions by maintaining a visible presence and communicating professionally with site personnel regarding security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
