At Spencer Psychology , we're more than a mental health practice. We're a healthy, close-knit, family-friendly team that supports each other as much as we support clients. Our front desk is the heart of our office, and we're looking for someone warm, organized, and tech-savvy to be a welcoming face (and voice) for our busy office. The receptionist reports to our office manager, as part of a 5-member support staff team for 24 kind-hearted therapists.

What You'll Do:

Greet clients with compassion and professionalism
Answer phones and client questions
Keep supply inventory
Keep things running smoothly behind the scenes - from insurance checks to account updates to staying on top of daily reporting (like downloading credit card payments)
Keep waiting room neat

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-4 or 9-5 (your choice). We are flexible with time off for doctors' appointments, your kids' school performances, and general personal life needs.

Pay: $18-$19 per hour

Perfect for a parent returning to work or someone with experience in medical or mental health admin. This is an in-person role. Telework is not available for reception.

Required : Previous front office medical, dental, vision, or mental health experience

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned reporting functions for our electronic health record (matching payments to client accounts, importing credit card transactions, running insurance eligibility, processing consent forms, and faxing).

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent certification.
• At least one year of receptionist or administrative assistant experience, in a medical or mental health organization
• Must pass a background check.
