Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT Duration: 8 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year required; first-timers accepted License: Required GA RRT License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS required Must-Have: Trauma experience required; pulmonary function testing preferred Description: The ideal candidate will work with a diverse patient population, from infants to geriatrics. Primary responsibilities include managing non-invasive and conventional ventilation, as well as aerosol therapy. Candidates will perform bedside pulmonary function tests and arterial blood gases. They will handle oxygen management and patient education. Experience in trauma care is essential. Preferred skills include pulmonary function testing and familiarity with specific equipment. Candidates must provide proper care to patients and demonstrate critical thinking in various scenarios. Flexibility to float within the facility and participate in weekend coverage is required. Holidays may be included in the assignment period, and candidates are expected to work major holidays. Compliance with onboarding requirements is necessary to start on time.
