Overview
Join a vibrant team at a restaurant located in Montebello, CA, 90640, as a Restaurant Cook! We are looking for a passionate and skilled cook who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to create delicious dishes that delight our guests. Responsibilities- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
- Assist in inventory management and stock control.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Participate in menu planning and development.
- Handle food prep tasks as needed, including chopping, marinating, and seasoning.
- Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant or similar setting.
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for culinary excellence.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Food Handler’s certification is a plus.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
