Dental Assistant

What You’ll Do Set up dental procedures and prepare treatment rooms for each patient. Provide hands-on assistance to the dentist during procedures. Take clear, diagnostic-quality x-ray films. Capture accurate alginate impressions. Sterilize dental instruments and maintain infection-control standards. Record patient vitals and chief complaints in the chart. Document clinical notes and treatment plans accurately. Communicate with patients in a warm, professional manner to ensure comfort throughout their visit. What We’re Looking For You’re someone who takes pride in delivering great patient care and stays calm in a busy clinical setting. You bring strong attention to detail and a genuine commitment to helping others. High school diploma or equivalent. X-Ray Certification (or ability to complete within 6 months of hire). BLS Certification (or ability to complete within 6 months of hire). Comfortable using computers for charting and documentation. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Previous dental assistant experience is a plus — candidates who don’t meet every preferred qualification are encouraged to apply. Schedule & Locations This is a full-time Dental Assistant position available at our Thundermist Health Center locations in Woonsocket, West Warwick, and South County. Our dental clinics operate Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Your schedule may include rotating evenings based on department needs.
