General Urologist

Northwell Health is seeking General Urologists to join its expanding urological health services across multiple locations in New York. This role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive, integrated healthcare within a large health system, collaborating with experienced partners and contributing to the advancement of urologic care. Physicians will also have access to an extensive network of physician extenders and weekly conferences to stay updated on the latest treatments and technologies. Practice Info The Department of Urology at Northwell Health's Arthur Smith Institute for Urology has seen tremendous growth over the past five years. Physicians have vast experience in minimally invasive procedures to treat all urologic diseases including those affecting the bladder, kidneys, male genitalia, and prostate. There is a true camaraderie within the group. Weekly conferences are held to help keep all updated on the latest treatments and technologies. The department has residencies and an extensive network of physician extenders. Physicians are also faculty of the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. Compensation Salary: Commensurate with Experience Shift & Schedule Type: Full Time Requirements MD Degree or equivalent from an accredited College of Medicine Completion of Residency with Board Certification or eligibility Current / Eligible for NYS License Outstanding communication and management skills and an ability to work collaboratively with medical staff and hospital management Must possess recent experience in generally accepted and currently used methods and techniques Chinese speaking preferred for Queens location
