Electromechanical Assembler

Location: Durham, NC (on-site)
Pay: $18.20/hr (W2)
Openings: 6
Type: Temporary (40 hrs/week)

Schedule

• Current training/ramp schedule:   Mon–Thu 6:00 AM–4:00 PM , with  Fri/Sat 6:00 AM–2:30 PM as needed
• Long-term schedule (once fully staffed/cross-trained):   Mon–Fri 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
• Must be  flexible for overtime when requested due to business needs

About the role

We’re hiring  Electromechanical Assemblers to support hands-on assembly work building sub-assemblies and integrating them into larger builds. This role supports equipment builds and includes training on tools and processes.

What you’ll do

• Perform a combination of  fabrication, electromechanical assembly, testing, and packaging tasks
• Set up, operate, perform basic maintenance on, and  troubleshoot equipment
• Conduct  quality checks/inspections in accordance with specifications
• Follow  SOPs and quality guidelines
• Rotate into different tasks/responsibilities as needed
• Work safely and effectively in a  team environment

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (required)
• Reliable transportation
• Mechanical aptitude
• Ability to  read/write in English and perform  basic math
• Strong attention to detail and solid communication skills
• Ability to stand/walk/sit for extended periods; may lift/move up to 50 lbs
• Work history matters: Preference for candidates with 1–2 years of solid work history with an employer
• • No job hoppers (multiple jobs lasting a year or less)

Preferred experience

• Mechanical assembly or manufacturing / assembly line background (automotive/production environments are a plus)
