Key Responsibilities

• Assist licensed Physical Therapists in assessing patients' physical capabilities through thorough evaluations, contributing valuable insights to inform treatment plans.
• Implement prescribed therapy modalities, focusing on therapeutic exercises, manual techniques, and pain management strategies tailored to each patient's needs.
• Conduct regular patient progress evaluations, adapting treatment protocols as necessary to optimize recovery outcomes.
• Engage with a diverse patient population, developing therapeutic relationships while delivering personalized care that respects individual patient histories and preferences.
• Document all treatment activities and patient interactions clearly and accurately in compliance with regulatory standards, ensuring continuity of care.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
• Completion of a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• A current PTA licensing in the state of California (CA PTA LICENSE required).
• Strong clinical skills in physical assessment and treatment, specifically within the orthopedic context.
• Exceptional communication abilities to effectively engage with patients and collaborate with healthcare colleagues.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of one year of practical experience in an orthopedic or rehabilitation setting.

Compensation and Benefits
