OPS FOOD CONTROL SPECIALIST - 67965373 - GENERAL SERVICES

Position Summary Delivers food trays and snacks to resident houses (approximately 18) for each meal in accordance to predetermined time and route schedule. Lifts, carries and places heavy (approximately 42#) food trays and dishes in the transport from food service to houses. Retrieves soiled dishes and trays from all houses, as well as any food‑service dishware that may have been left at the houses’ kitchen. Assists in the preparation of trays and loads onto the food truck for delivery and whatever task deemed necessary to keep Sunland delivery system operating on a daily and ongoing basis. Work You Will Do Assist in cleaning and sanitizing the food service department, including washing, drying and folding laundry on a daily basis. Wash pots and pans following established procedures using a 3‑compartment sink. Clean and sanitize floors, tray machine, food truck and hall after each meal; ensure back docks and surrounding terrain remain clean; de‑lime the tray machine weekly on Tuesdays. Safely drive assigned motor vehicle; conduct daily safety checks (lights, brakes, oil level, gas) and ensure vehicle logs are completed daily and submitted by the third of each month; fuel trucks every Friday afternoon. Maintain a positive work attitude and complete all required staff training. Perform other related duties as required. Maintain accurate timesheet and submit timely. Complete all required training. Minimum Qualifications Valid driver’s license. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of the rules of the road. Knowledge of procedures for operating motor vehicles. Skill in operating a motor vehicle. Ability to perform light maintenance and service work. Ability to communicate effectively.
