ELIGIBILITY SPECIALIST I

The Early Learning Coalition of Northwest Florida is looking for a candidate that has a can-do-attitude, is tenacious, energetic, hardworking, innovative, resourceful, and creative to join its Operations Team. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Proficiently provide customer service in a virtual environment and in person Maintain clear, concise, accurate case notes for each file Ensure the accurate determination of parent eligibility and enrollment in the selected school readiness program based on supporting documentation Ensure the accurate determination of parent co-pays and appropriate billing groups Accurately use the Coalition identified database system and software for all work-related functions Maintain the School Readiness Wait List (list of children waiting for potential enrollment in the SR program once funding is available) Complete VPK initial registration and enrollment process and transfers for eligible parents and children Compile and report family service, eligibility, and enrollment data, accurately and timely Referral processing which includes but not limited to receiving, notifying appropriate employers, providers, and agencies emailing or calling Minimum Education and Experience Requirements Associate degree or equivalent experience Two (2) or more years program eligibility experience. Outstanding written and oral communication and presentation skills. Background Checks Level II Background Check Drug Screen Valid Florida Driver License Valid Automobile Insurance – if applicable Access to Reliable Transportation – if applicable E-Verify High Speed Internet Access that can be maintained daily, with at least 50Mbps when working in a secure home location.
